Rating Advisors?

No, but a lot of times advice ratings (like jaz said) are based on the person being liked or the the length of time the person is around and how familiar they are to others (it’s not something conscious, it’s a cognitive bias known as a halo effect)… since advisors tend to have been around a while and have a lot of answers, you may see that trend…

Also, just because you didn’t find it to be the best answer - does not mean that other people didn’t. You can rate answers just like anyone else can and if you feel that someone else had a better answer - then rate the other answer.

no, we dont get autimatically rated sometimes if someone likes a certain person, then theyd probably rate lots of there advice but this goes for both advisors and everyone else I’ve answered over 4000 questions and majority of them havent been rated usually if you get a rating, its because peopel think yyou were helpful or not
