  One that is very rare is called R H negative or any blood with the R H factor (I know someone with that type) Here's something interesting: Type O negative is a type that almost everyone can recieve for a transfusion (lifeline helicopters stock it) however, a person with type O negative can only recieve that type

  I believe that AB- and B- are the rarest here in the U.S. population, but I have B- and I know only 2% of our population have that blood type and my mom has AB+ and 3% if the population has that blood type I think. Here is a site that may help you: http://funadvice.com/r/152hi7j5h2b :)

  i don't know what the rarest is but i know mine is quite rare it's -B and like 2% of people in scotland have it
