Quiting guitar lessons

I want to quit my guitar lessons, but I don’t know how to tell my tutor. What should I say? Should I tell him at the start of the lesson or the end? What do I say? I’m really bad a speaking and getting my words out. Please help me. How should I tell him?

Answer #1

you dont need to tell your instructor that you lost your interest. just tell him that now your really busy and dont have time anymore to come to class. or just wait until the lessons are over and dont sign up annnymore

Answer #2

tell him you thought you wanted to take guitar lessons, but you tried it and you found out you weren’t as interested as you thought. :)

Answer #3

well I would just say that you have been playing guitar for a while and feel that it isnt realy your thing. not that I can understand how you could stop playing guitar lol.

Answer #4

I would quit after a lesson, especially if you pay per lesson. You should say something like you just lost your interest in playing guitar and remember to thank your instructor for what he has taught you.
