Electric guitar lessons

I want to learn to play electric guitar. Does anyone know where I can find guitar lessons?

there’s music shops all over the place (in the uk anyway). go to a place that sells guitars/drums, they always do lesson’s. usually costing around £14 per lesson…or if your still at school, ask if they do lessons after school

go to youtube.com, and search for user “rockongoodpeople.”

It’s several free tips, tricks, and videos of how to do certain things on the guitar. Not to mention, (I think the URL is freeguitarlessons.com, but I’m not sure) they will tell you the address that they work for where you can go and pick up on other things.

Other than that, find a website that teaches you how to read guitar tabs (fairly simple, once you get the general idea), and then just look up guitar tabs to songs you’re interested in learning. Few modern guitar players still play on sheet music. Everything’s done by ear, by tabs, or power chords.

Its pretty easy to teach yourself - as long as you work out how to reda tab, you can improve pretty easily with some work. Thats what I did! :)
