Puppy Mills

I’ve heard that dogs at pet stores come from Puppy Mills and that Puppy Mills are HORRIBLE places. What happens to the dogs there?

Answer #1

Puppy Mills are horrible places. They breed many different dogs, and they have very bad and messy cages for the dogs. They are pretty much unliveable areas the dogs are in. But some pet stores do not get the dogs from puppy mills, you have to ask where they get there puppies and investigate the place before buying from them.

go to petas websites if you really want to see how animals are treated. but places like petsmart team up with local shelters and hold adoption days and everything, which is really good because it gives need puppies and kittens loving caring homes or a place to stay until they do. :)Currently my family has 6 recused animals. We’ve had many before too. Such as Horses, Cats, Dogs. And my ex boyfriends grandma recused baby squirals. we called her grandma squirally :). sorry for babling on. Have a good night.

FIGHT FOR THE PUPPIES!

their very horrible places the males and females usually arent fed properly, no socialization, males are tossed their food over and if its hard usually can hurt them by hitting them and the ONLY socialization for males is when their tossed in pens with females to breed and then the pups are sold to young no vaccinations which means more diseases can come onto them easier than puppies that have had socialization and vaccinations. they are taken from their mother too soon which is REALLY bad. Its just awful and whats really sad is the dogs still trust you in the end, I’ve seen it happen many times. :-(

Answer #5

Do a search and you will see a lot of terrible video’s and information. I would never buy a puppy if you can;t see where they were raised or their parents.

Answer #6

You don’t even have to go to PETA’s site, they don’t have a monopoly on being horrified by the conditions…just type in “Puppymill” in a search engine, and you’ll get thousands of hits.

Puppy mills are places where dogs are raised as “livestock” for profit…live in rabbit cages, have no care, no life…in filth…
