What is the punishment for underage shoplifting?

my daughter was caught shoplifting this is her first time getting into trouble like this and she is very upset with herself for doing so. i just wanted to know what is the punishment for underage shoplifter?

Hi,

My younger sister was caught shoplifting at around the age of 14. She was trying to put a shirt in her bag at some fancy store. She had to do 200 hours of community service, and provide verification of the complete hours to some sort of juvenile probation officer. Luckily, since she was under 18, it’s now not haunting her everywhere she goes..
