I am doing an essay for my degree in early childhood studies, the essay is on the behaviour management policy in the school I work in, we have to analyse the policy with regards to psychological perspectives, what is psychological perspectives and where can I find information in the psychological perspectives on behaviour
s is also correct. soz if I came of rude. just she didn’t ask us to correct her spelling. Analyse with an s is the british english version analyze with an z is the american english version.
actually ellissa_hyde analyse can be spelled with an s or a z. and sometimes in college they just give you a project without telling you anything about it in class - the big world. Here are some websites about what it is etc.

z is correct!! and I am in college!! im in med school!!! haha you should tell me about not knowing
try paying attention in class and you might know!! and you spelled analyze wrong!! its with a z
When it says ‘analyse the policy with regards to psychological perspectives’ does it have to be from the perspective of a specific psychologist? Because there are a lot of different ones, especially pertaining to childhood behaviour, I’ve just finished writing an ERA on Piaget’s stages theory, but there are a heap more, so you’ll need to research. You can also do a lot from just common sense, what does a child need to develop psychologically? What boundraies need to be placed to ensure children know what they can and can’t do? ect But your key point is ‘the policy’ read it and ask yourself, why? Why does the policy say what it says? How does it relate to childhood behaviour, that’s all you really need to know
Hope that helped and that I didn’t go off topic. If you have any more specific questions about it feel free to ask, I’ve just done something similar. Good luck anyway. p.s. ifeelcrazy123 is right.
You’re in medical school at the age of 17? Ok. Hands up anyone who believes that.
A psychological perspective is simply the theory one is using. So cognitive, humanistic, behavioral, psychoanalytic, etc. You just look up the particular theory and it will describe the perspective it has on behaviors. So according to behavioral theory, all behaviors are learned.
