How to major in psychology specializing in children in college?

I was looking at colleges for a psychology major but it usually says Psychology- General. l want to go into child, teen, and family therapy. I know there are specific ones for that but can l do the same thing at the colleges where it says general psychology? lf not does that mean l would do that college first then go into it at another one?

You need a Bachelor’s degree first… You cant practice counseling without atleast a masters degree…
and then you have several options after you get your bachelors in whatever… masters in marriage and family counseling masters in mental health counseling, phd in counseling psychology - focus on children phd in clinical psychology - focus on children psyd - doctor of psychology - focus on children
