Is there a way to promote hair growth even though my hair always seems to stop growing several inches below my shoulders?

The length your hair will grow to is determined by your hair follicles. There is a point where it will stop growing and it sounds to me like this is what is happening with you. So I dont think you will be able to get your hair to grow any longer unfortunately.

You might just not notice it growing. its easy to tell when hair thats short grows which makes it look like its growing fast, but longer hair is harder to tell.. maybe dont trim as much, drink water, and make sure your getting a balanced diet. other than that nothing you can do.

See that happened with me, my hair wouldn’t grow any longer but I did cholesterol scalp treatments and now my hair graws and I have to cut at least once a month but once you do them you have to keep up with them.

you could alwas get hair extentions if you wanted it longer

You can go to a drugstore and get vitamins to stimulate hair growth. I usuall go with the B vitamin pack or they have hair and nail pills.
