Okay, so you have the app named “whatsapp” on your cellphone. That is an app where you can text on internet protocol instead of text messaging protocol which is cheaper than regular texting. And you want to connect your phone to another person who also has got the app “whatsapp”.

And there is a problem establishing the connection.

Nope. If you use whatsapp then you have an account at the watsapp company. You send the messages to the computer systems of the whatsapp company. The computer sends it to your friend who also has an account there. To text someone to his whatsapp, you have to have an whatsapp-account. As far as I know there is no other program that can connect to a whatsapp-account.
