What's the purpose of private schools and are they expensive?

Yes, private schools are a bit pricey, some more than others.

Many people of all different social classes choose to put their children in private schools for different reasons. Some parents prefer private schools that are religion oriented because they believe that reigion should be taught to their children and the teachers should have the same beliefs as they do. Some people choose private schools because the public schools in their area are below average in academics and dont offer as much. Some people choose private schools in hopes that it will help their children get into colleges easier in the future. Some choose them because they are trying to shelter their children from the dr.ugs, sex, violence, etc in their local public school systems.

Yes they are a tad bit expensive. Although, they’re not just for people who’s parents are “rich”. Where I live, if you have a single parent who is on low income, the Government will pay for most of the fees if your parent chooses to send you to a private school or boarding school. These schools are basically Christian or Catholic schools with better quality Government-funded resources which supply kids more advanced learning skills.
