pressure and swimming

I work soo hard at swim practices but my mum always forces me to do better. I do my best but I dont think she understands. I expained before but she just keeps nagging. whatt should id do? HELP!!!

Answer #1

Talk to your coach. Have the coach talk to your mother, saying that you try your best. Explain to the coach that you feel you’re doing the best that you possibly can, and that you would like him/her to try to get your mother to lay off. if the coach says that you’re not doing you’re best, then you’ve got a problem.

Answer #2

I’d have a sit-down talk with your mom and explain to her that her excessive pressure on you is detrimental to you performing at your best. Explain to her that you do appreciate her concern but that you are always doing your best and that you are paying attention to your coaches advice.

If all else fails, let her nagging go in one ear and out the other. Just keep on being you.

Answer #3

Just tell her ‘I know you mean well and wanting me to be the best I can be…Mom, I want that too, so please don’t push so hard…I love you’
