Do you think it would be better if we had a president who was independent and not affiliated with a democratic or a republican party?

definitely! cuz they would not be trying to do best for their party, it would be for the country as a whole

im not republican nor democrate…..i think that as long as youre a good president it shouldnt matter. all politics does, is start stupid stuff -_-

I think both paries have their good points and bad points. One will screw you one way and the other one will get you another way. A politician is a politician ;)

Absolutely. This whole party thing is ridiculous. People who vote a certain way because it’s fed to them by their affiliated party aren’t thinking for themselves. I vote for who I think will do the best job and for what I think will be best for me as an American. And I agree with Brandi. A politician is a politician. They have all lied at some point and will continue to do so. Look at the money they make! They will do and say whatever they think will work to keep that dough rolling in.

Ideally yes, but with the House made up of Republicans and Democrats, that President would run into even more resistence and stale mates then the current Democratic President has going on with the current Republican House. The more Independents in the House the better the chances that an Independent President can be effective.
