What is douching

Vaginal douching has been done for many, many years. However, there is currently concern that it may sometimes cause problems. It may mask, or even worsen, conditions such as bacterial or yeast infection of the vagina. Even more seriously, douching is associated with an increased risk of pelvic inflammatory disease (PID). It is also associated with an increased risk of an ectopic pregnancy (probably due to PID). The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) recommends against douching.

Douching for ANY woman is bad - but it’s especially risky when a woman is pregnant because of the cause of infection.

Douching harms the natuaral Ph balance in a woman’s vagina and can get rid of neccasary bacteria that is needed in the vagina. When you do this - you can be more suseptable to infections and have constant yeast infections. The vagina is self cleansing.

It’s a when you used a store brought bottle that contain a liquid substance,usually vinegar and water and you insert it in ut vagina and squeeze it until it releases all of the bottles contents inside of u,flushing ir vagining out and cleaning it
