Do you prefer one type of sugar over the other and why?

Yeah brown sugar does make coffee taste funky, but I use it for some cooking

I have a basic preference like this also. I prefer white over brown.

Just a basic preference for me. I use white granulated sugar more often than brown sugar. I als buy the cheapest brand - the wal-mart brand. It doesnt make a taste difference in my opinion.

However, when i do use brown sugar for certain things i cook (sweet potato casseroll, pralines, etc) i buy the Domino brand. I’ve tried the cheaper brands and it does seem to make a difference with brown sugar.

I like turbinado sugar. It has a slightly different flavor from regular white granulated sugar to me.

As long as its real sugar. I hate any artificial sweetener or those sugars for diabetics bleh.

I use regular white sugar for everyday things like adding to my tea (or honey) but I have to have brown sugar in my oatmeal.

I prefer sweetener over sugar straight from the bag. Its healthier and tastes a bit better to me.

I love brown sugar because of the way it tastes, it just soothes me.
