How is it that so many post things about disabilities, yet none of them are of any help to my question?

so here goes…if you have noticed you have had symptoms by reading them online, all of which you can relate to could it be possible that you just may have that disability? I mean I dont want to consider the obvious, but is it possible that it may just be a coincidence or should I seek a professional opinion to be sure once & for all?! What do you guys think? thanks in advance ♥

I think that any time you feel something isn’t right, you should talk to a doctor. You know, better than anyone, if something in your body is off. Mind you, it’s entirely possible that when you read about other people’s symptoms, that you are imagining yourself to have them, but the doctor would be the one who could say for sure.

Ok, it’s way too easy to look at a bunch of symptoms and believe you have an illness (ask anyone in med school). You need to go to a doctor to get whatever issues you believe you have diagnosed.

I have tried to put it off for this long, but the more I read & research about these things the more it sounds like me…that is why I have really considered finding it out once & for all, I mean can it seriously just be a coincidence that I have all the signs…have had them since I was a kid & have been able to fake it, til I got into law school & just couldnt pull it off anymore…way too much pressure…way too much competition & really felt the pressure at the end of the semester…for a while I thought it may just have been anxiety or something, but the more i researched how i felt, like as if everything was closing in on me…and just couldnt take it anymore so I left…after a whole year of law school…with an 85 average…(not that great but I tried!) My family really think i need to go back, into the field…but i just dont think i can put myself through it again…and rather settle for something less stressful. Do you think it is a bad idea for to just give up, or could it be that these issues I may be having is what may be holding me back…like some fear of failure or something?!

Answer #4

You know, it is really hard to answer this question when I have no information on what you’re talking about? You can funmail me if you dont want to post it up on here, but I dont even know if you’re talking about like a physical health problem or more of a mental type of disability (we wont get into how you cant actually separate the two, so bear with me).

Answer #5

lol, np…i will funmail ya…:)

Answer #6

Yes…it can be a coincidence…therefore, if you want a diagnosis, you must go to a professional.

Answer #7

thanks sweetie ♥

Answer #8

thanks, that could be it or it just might be stuff that I have been through that have made me be this way! All I know is I have seen the signs which is why I was struggling with the decision…check it out or just leave it be…waited this long…:(
