Please help me and my boyfriend are having serious issues

Ok so me and my boyfriend have been dating for about 6 months now and I thought that I was completely in love with him. However we have been spending less time together due to issues involving his family which has caused him 2 b very busy. Then today I heard some rumors about my boyfriend not wanting to b with me and stuff, so I confronted him about them. He kept trying to kiss me and he goes I will tlk 2 you about it later. so I got very mad at him because he would not anwser me and I walked off. Then later I saw him again and hes all hey babe like nothing was wrong. I pulled him aside and said I need to tlk 2 you now, I need 2 know if you love me and he said yes. I asked him if he was sure and he said yes. Then I asked him if he was sure that he wanted to be with me because I needed to know, he said yes hugged me and went to class. to him this is not a big deal I guess, after I got home he called me and asked why I had left school early. And he insisted that the rumors werent true and that he does love me, but I am so confused. He has seemed kind of distant lately and his friends act like they know something, and I don’t know how I feel really. I find myself thinking about other guys and stuff. But when I think about losing him I start to cry and I feel like I don’t know what I will do if I lose him, he means so much to me. Please does anyone have any advice on what I should do?
