Why do I get these pinpricks of pain across my shoulders and chest while brushing my teeth?

this has been happening for years and i never know what its from, the pain only last for a few seconds, but it feels like a needle is like stabbing into me. :/ anyone know?

The only thing that comes to mind when I read your question is cold chills. However, cold chills shouldn’t hurt.

So, to be honest… I have no idea what it could be. Perhaps you should ask your physician.

Just a guess but do u have sensitive teeth? It may b that, ur hitting a nerve in ur teeth when ur brushin and it travels, again just a guess

I don’t think the nerves from your teeth go all the way to your shoulders… but I’m not sure.

mabe its how you hold your toothbrush. Do you slump your shoulders or buff your chest when you brush?
