Pin pointed problem

I was at a party last night and toward the end when most of the people left it was me and 8 of my closest friends. Then we decided to go around the room and say what we thought of each other before we got to know each other. Sadly 6/8 people said they thought that I was a concieded person with an ego as big as cali, but after they got to know me they realized I was the opposite. That really hurt because I try not to brag or be vain, and I feel that I’m not. I think this is why my all of my crushes just turn away from me. I think, they think that I’m full of myself and not up to have a girl friend. How can I seem less “full of myself” to people that I first meet?

Hehe, sounds mean…How drunk were they??? ARE THEY REALLY YOUR CLOSEST FRIENDS? or just acquantances??

  1. Get rid of pointless pride. Yet, dont become a softie ;)
  2. Be open, yet not blind- dont trust everyone just cause they seem nice-be smart
  3. Have your boudaries, dont act too smart or wise- people are scared of that and often jealous even tho its true to you and normal to most.
  4. Pick your friends and your crushes carefully- are they worth of trust.
  5. Do not under any circumstances talk bout anyone behind their back, do not talk bout private life-even to a best friend you think you trust. AND, Try to exaggerate as less as possible whenever thats the case.
  6. Control your emotions, anger, irritation, love, etc, control your thoughts-eliminate negative, self centered, judgemental (like- look what hes done…jeez what is she wearing…oh mi gosh…how dare he say say that-who is he to say that???) And last, dont use the fake smile and fake laugh…people know and see these well…
