How do I make this guy get the point?

ok last night at the school dance my boyfriend got over protective because I was talkin to one of my exes and he told me he was going to dump me so I broke up with him then a slow song came on so me and the ex he was mad at started dancing then after the dance my boyfriend that I broke up with asked if he could kiss me I said no and that we were not going out but I dont think he gets the point because he keeps calling and texting me how do I make him get the point??
