Period and pregnancy

Okay so I started my period sunday and it was really heavy and now it is sorta light but every now and again it gets heavy again and I had sex unprotected all weekend..could I still be pregnant?

You could. But I’d suggest giving it a little bit of time. Pregnancy takes at least 2-3 weeks to show it’s symptoms/signs, and a EPT wont show a correct reading until after that time period. Wait a little bit, or if you’re impatient, go to your doctor and talk to them. But if you have patience, take an EPT after 3 weeks of waiting. Then talk to your doctor about the results. Always double check. Sometimes the EPT is inaccurate. Good luck.
