What is the perfect prom dress - short, or the long gown type of dress?

I find a long dress looks more beautiful and elegant for any girl :)

i think that a long gown is perfect for a formal prom, but personally would think a dress that is to your knees would make it easier to have fun because you can move around more and dance.

You’re gonna wanna have fun at your prom, like dance and drink and run around and sh;t so I would say short. But for your graduation ceremony a long dress would be nice.

I would say go with your heart…It’s YOUR PROM…not anyone elses…suppose you listened to someone on here & got what they said according to their taste…what happens when you get to your prom & say to yourself damn I should have gotten the other dress…I knew it…why did I listen…and that my dear will ruin Your night!!!

Always trust your heart on these things…you have to satisfy yourself…and till you get married, this is going to be the biggest event yet! So get that dress your heart tells you it wants, get the shoes that will feel comfortable in if you dont my dear, you’ll be either sitting all night with your feet are killing you or you will just decide to take them off to have a good time…(Speaking from experience here, I took my shoes off after the first dance at my wedding so I could really dance & have fun!)

Do you hair how you like up or down…it’s your night remember that without anyone telling you otherwise…and if you want make up & nails…then go for it too!!! Just have fun & make a night to remember! :P

Personally, I think a long dress since it’s formal. Short dress is more like semi-formal.

it depends on your frame, what you’re comfortable with? what the fashion in your area is? that question is very subjective… go with what YOU want is what i say.. you are you! be proud about your choices x

I think the long gown type dress suits the prom purpose more than a short dress. You can wear a short dress anywhere but in a girl’s life you usually only get 2 chances to wear a nice full long length gown and that is to your prom and to your wedding !
