Why do so many people stop following their dreams?

I would have to agree with Colleen. Its not that the dreams vanish, its just that the dreams aren’t always as feasible as we would like to think. Sometimes people can’t afford or handle the schooling that is necessary to achieve that particular dream. Sometimes you have to take care of responsibilities before trying to tackle a dream. One responsibility leads to another…..and the next thing you know 30 years have gone by and you wonder where the time went.

It’s really sad…when people get older they realize that their dream can’t happen. But sometimes if you just belive that it’s going to happen. But if you try your best and actually go for it..you’ll get somewhere. My friend belives being optimistic sets you up for failure. It’s not true..and she needs to know that. She gave up on everything…..and I’m gonna help her to figure it out….

because when you get older,things get harder and it’s not easy to full fill what you want. As a kid,i always thought when i get older things will be easy and that i could be whatever i want. No.. being an adult is so hard and so that’s the biggest reason you can’t do everything you want. You have more responsiblity and everything isn’t as easy as it is being a kid when you have parents to take care of you.

Dreams take time….and that’s one thing adulthoods sucks dry…your “time bank”…..Lot’s of people my age still dream, but have put them on hold till they retire.
