Typically its used to draw out a sentence, to signal that theres more to the thought that they dont feel like writing or sometimes people will send just the dots to signal silence, I do that when someone sends me a message but I have nothing to say, I dont have to reply and they will still know that I read it.

Answer #4

It honestly depends on the situation and what you two are talking about, personally I use it when somethings wrong so it all depends.

Answer #5

it means they were left speechless or don’t know what to say.

Answer #6

It is called points of ellipsis. It indicates that something was left out. It can be used at the beginning, between or at the end of content. It is frequently used to shorten long quotes but it is bad form to use ellipsis to change the meaning (though this happens frequently intentionally or not). Also used in mathematics to indicate that a pattern repeats.

Answer #8
