Why do people tell me I'll never make it in life?

For whatever reason they probably think that you have a character flaw that will limit your potential. They may think you party too much, aren’t smart enough, or are too lazy, dishonest, or immoral to succeed. I know that it is pretty much impossible to not care about what other people think about you but remember that the best revenge is success. If you live a good life and achieve the things you want to than you will have prevailed regardless of if you ever meet their criteria for success.

those negative comments are actually going to build you up. i have had people who where important in my life tell me that i was nothing and i am proud to say i made them look like idiots, i suggest you do the same ;P and if anything i think you are going to make it in life just keep growing

With Faith in God and yourself, you CAN do anything !!

Their own insecurities likely lie at the roots of these statements. If you’re failing in schools or obviously on drugz, etc, this may marrit some negetive feedback in such intendedly inspirational forms, such as saying you’re not going anywhere in life if you keep these actions up.
