Why do people have to label others because they dress a certain way?

Exactly, if they seperate you from them in some way, then they dont have to treat you like a person, part of the reason why people hang in packs of people similar to them, its human psychology, flawed, but unfortunately true. only those that can transcend this error in thinking are truly superior in mind.

Yup! And it’s just a thing our brains do really… In order to organize our thoughts we categorize and put them in boxes. Kind of like how we categorize certain animals through taxonomy. and yeah, it’s not always a positive thing, but theres not really a way to avoid making these categories….

Ignorance. People judge people based on hear say that is created by ignorant people. I can understand categorizing humans but the issue with that is we are not as easy to put into one group. We have more likes and dislikes than an animal does. I believe people differ too much to really categorize them in one lump sum. It’s hard to change people and the way they think. You got to ignore the negative and always stay positive and break some barriers.

Just be yourself and happy. Respect yourself and the world will respect you.

Haha this happened to me just this morning and I dont know why they do this but honeslty i think that they are sad and have nothing better to do….

Lol yea its a sad thing someone called me a “hipster” when i listen to all kinds of music not just one certain kind… I find it sad people have to label other people so they feel good about their self and yet they are just crappy people.

“hipster” isn’t a type of music, it’s a style of dress and music and a way of living. all natural, fair trade, not well known of, that sort of thing. (and personaly, i think the way hipsters dress is super cute! ) :)

It’s not fair to do that..don’t let them change you! They are not important in the grand scheme of things!
