What do you think about a pastor cursing at home?

Its setting a bad example to his household. Cursing is the weak mind trying to express itself. A pastor swearing is just his way of getting the stress out [not saying its a good way tho]

I’ve never heard anyone curse so eloquently as an Irish Catholic Priest. . It must be part of the curriculum at the Theological College.

I don’t give a crap and neither should anyone else. Who cares? It’s his house let him do what he wants… as long as he stays away from little boys, that is.

Uh I care… I don’t think he should be at church telling people whats right and wrong and still repeatedly doing what HE says is wrong.

Pastors are people too, and they are just as prone to becoming frustrated to the point where a few expletives leak out. Judge not…

However, everyone is a sinner in the need of forgiveness. Everyone has different stregths and weaknesses when it comes to sin. A pastor may have a cussing problem, but if so, then it needs to be dealt with properly.

Well to me it depends on what he preaches as well as in what manner is he cussing. I can’t call him a hypocrite if he doesn’t preach against cussing. However, as a pastor he is supposed to be held at a higher standard than all the rest.

I don’t believe cussing is necessarily a sin. If I called my best friend an ass and we can laugh about it I wouldn’t see it as wrong as I calling him a jerk with every malice of my being.

Cursing isn’t so bad compared to raping his three daughters at home while they’re growing up. The Christian pastor who performed my wife’s and I wedding is in prison now for having sexual intercourse with this three daughters while there were growing up. The youngest one finally told her story to her psychiatrist. This happens a lot more than you can see in these Christian sinners who are no different than any other sinner on earth.
