It's a psychological thing, this passing out. When there are really gross things - like you are dissecting some part of a dead animal in biology class or when they show you pics of some disease like a tobacco lung in health class - then you get so upset that you breathe wrong. You breathe too fast and not deep enough. That causes the oxygen in your blood to go low. And then you pass out as your brain does not get sufficient oxygen for a short while.
All you can really do is calm yourself and concentrate on taking deep, slow breaths. If the thing you see id too upsetting, and you feel you are panicking, ask your teacher whether you can go to the bathroom or maybe ask him or her whether you can just go to the hallway for half a minute.
The trick is, stay calm, do not hyperventilate, do not panic.
There are ways to remove the feeling from disgust from yourself, by confronting yourself with gross things. Things are only disgusting to people who are not used to them. So people who work in a butchery feel almost nothing when they see the intestines of dead animals. And you can also get used to gross tings and feel not so grossed out by them. You could just get yourself a couple of movies that have blood and gore in them. Watch the battle scenes from Braveheart on youtube. Or whatever else may get you used to the grossness.
The material you're studying might be boring to you. Why don't you think of ways to make it more interesting? Try to add to the discussion instead of tuning out.

You can ask to sit outside or something, I'm sure she would let you as long as you found another way to get the info.
In order to help you, it would be nice to know what's causing you to pass out.
