Party gone bad

I had a end of the year party at my house, and it was really fun! We had a cake fight, sprayed each other with the hose, and even poured cream soda all over each other.

But my mom wasn’t really ok with the cream soda part, but she was ok with everything else. She spazzed at all my friends and said “ONCE MORE! AND THE PARTYS OVER!”

I ran out of the backyard in tears cause I thought everyone would be mad at me…

Would they be mad? If they are, are they overreacting? Was my mom overreacting too much?

unless all your friends are orphans and get to do what ever they want they should understand cause I doubt have there parents would even let them have a party let alone throw cake and make a mess of things.I mean if ya didnt clean it up after the party I would kill you but thats why im not a parent but the fact of the matter is she gave you a warning instead of kick everyone outright then and there.I know when I was your age my parents would have beat me infront of my friends then beat them and then kick em out and ground me for life and make me clean everything up and then give me a “talk” for 5 friggin hours.heck I doubt they would have let me have the party.man you kids could get away with murder…so your mom was underreacting in my opinion your friends wont be mad I mean how could they for having a good time and if they are mad tell them ok so I guess the next cake throwing hose and soda spraying party is at your house and see if they dont go “uuhhh well I think I hear my mommy callin”

noone should be mad at you because of your moms reaction. if they are mad at you then there not real friends.

Your mother isn’t overreacting.

She was nice enough to let you throw a party, and it sounds like you wasted her money and made a huge mess. She wasn’t “spazzing out,” she just didn’t want soda everywhere.

I’d be pissed… just because that’s a lot of wasted money.

I’d be even more pissed if it was done inside the house. Otherwise… I wouldn’t care, I’d just lock everyone outside.
