parrot fish

its a cichlid I think fresh water

Maybe it needs more space or it could be sick…

but I think it will be difficult to seperate it from others … which kind of food it can eat cause when I throw food it has no response as if doesnt care not like other fish they run to get their food!!!

is this the salt water kind from the Scaridae family or is this the fresh water type of Chiclid? If its the Freshwater it could be: they need someone to mate with, they need some one to fight with for territory (same or another type of Chiclid -doesnt matter when fighting as long as they are equal size), or someone beat them up into bad submission. If its the salt water fish, they are gentler than the fresh water and may have been bullied. Either way, both can eat shrimp, junk food for fish. separate him by cupping some tank water in a new plastic container and put him in there (don’t use any that have been washed…it will have soap residue, no matter how well you rinse it - soap is horrible for fish - you need tank water to keep his equilibrium/ temperature ), and Buy some dried shrimp at the local pet store. if your parrot fish does not respond to that, then the end may be near. Sorry to say that.

thnxx ..but sory I wanna ask you dried shrimp from the market whish is ready to be then cooked ,,,I will throw it dry you mean?

dry unsalted shrimp, Every pet store shold have it.

Since its a fresh water parrot, do you have other ciclids in the tank. your fish requires lots of large rocks and plants and things he can go in and out of, and protect. Do you have these things going from the base of the tank, all the way to the top of the tank? your tank needs “a dowtown of skyscrapers” in other words

their is another small parrot white colored and so much active ,,the one a talking about is orange and large ,,,I have rocks and artificial plants onlyyy
