Answer #1

Heater probably went nuts. You should adjust your heater in the warm months fo upper 70s, lower 80s(I know its above the recommended for those fish, but if you get them used to the warmer temperatures on a consistent basis, they do fine), and keep the settings the same in the cooler months. Also, do you have a thermometer?

I don’t have athermometer am trying the normal body temp thermometer does it work I dunno? ..how to adjust he heater I don’t understand

Answer #3

Adjusting a heater is all trial and error. You’re supposed to do it before you put any fish in. That’s why I always buy fish during the summer months. You adjust it so that it eventually settles around the lower to mid 80s(Fahrenheit, that is), so that in the winter time it will be in the upper 70s. For now, turn the heater all the way down and slowly raise the dial till it comes on. AFTER you get a heater. Once the temperature settles for a day or so, raise it just a hair more until your temperature settles in the upper 70s.
