Parasitism

Does anyone know what parasitism is and can help me with a good example of it ( in the ocean examples)???

Answer #1

parasitism is Symbiosis: the condition in which two or more dissimilar organisms live together in close association. This includes parasitism (harmful to one of the organisms, beneficial to the other) commensalism (beneficial to one, of no significance to the other) and mutualism (beneficial to both). Look it up. OH WE have the same…

Answer #2

okay thank you! :)

Answer #3

There’s nothing symbiotic about a parasitic relationship.

Symbiots essentially benefit each other with their respective attributes. There are some plants that are like this, and a number of bacteria in the human body.

Parasites are entities that gain advantage while the host is disadvantaged.

Parasites and symbiots are close to opposite ends of a spectrum.
