How painful were spacers for you?

I already have braces on my top teeth and there adding 4 more bands to my teeth which in turn means they added more spacers. Braces are a piece of cake no pain whatsoever but spacers HURT I can’t eat anything and simply talking hurts. I’m curious how other people tolerated the pain of spacers.

I think they hurt really bad, but after a while you get used to them. The hurt a little more then braces i thought.

Spacers didnt bother me at all, they didnt really hurt. Everyone told me they would, but they didnt. Getting my braces off, tho, wow. That hurt. I got my tops off a few weeks ago, and it hurt a lot. Im getting the bottoms off in a week, and Im not looking forward to it :\

Yep, those hurt like hell… Also getting a hyrax hurt just as much, if not more than spacers…

They didn’t hurt me at all. I’ve had a lot of dental work done, and the only pain I ever experienced was getting my wisdom teeth out..but that was full on surgery :S

mine hurt for a little bit after i got them and i couldnt eat anything that involed chewing but after a couple days they are feel fien they just feel wierd!

I HATE spacers!!! They were really painful to me, in my opinion they hurt more than the braces.
