How can I lose weight before school?

but how can you say im not fat if you havent seen me? whenever i try on a pair of jeans that fit my length they are too tight. i can never see a therapist or whatever..i would never tell my parents they would just say im being stupid. ive been trying to run but i hurt my ankle at camp. Ill run anyway but it just makes my ankle hurt. ive been to afraid to dance since i quit. The people there were really mean to me because i didn’t want to do company anymore. there are other places around but they arent as good, and all of the people there are already friends. i dnt really have friends at school so it wouldn’t be that different, but i still dont want to. Anyway, how can i lose weight the fastest? maybe i could lose more weight before school starts.

I know you are not fat because you told us your height and weight. Seeing you has nothing to do with it.

You certainly can’t judge your body by the length of the jeans you try on. That’s not at all relevant. You could try on five pairs of jeans that are all the exact same length, but one could be a size 2, another a size 5, another a 10, a 12, and an 18. It’s waist size that matters, not length. Sometimes it’s really tough to find clothes that fit just right. That’s true whether people are skinny, average, or large. Our bodies are just so different that some clothes don’t flatter our body shape no matter what that shape may be.

So it sounds like you need to learn what’s normal and what’s not. It seems like you’re basing this whole “I’m fat” issue on things that aren’t even relevant! :P So I think you’re worrying unnecessarily.

You should be trying to either maintain your weight, or lose five pounds at the very most. So it’s not like you really have to worry about having a serious weight loss program.

If running hurts your ankle, walk instead. If people are mean where you dance, try a different place or even dance at home. Try getting some dance or yoga tapes. Then you could do it in your room if you have a VCR or DVD player.

Ok Let me break it down for you.

At age 15, 5’1” and 123 lbs:

YOUR VITALS Your basic calorie needs. (how much your body burns just by exsisting): 1353 Your resting metabolic rate. (rate of calorie burn when you factor in daily activities): 2165 Your BMI (Body mass Index): 23.19 Your Body Fat Percentage: 25.89 How much of your current weight is fat(estimate): 31.84

Your weight loss goal: 4.46 lbs!

Your daily estimated calorie budget if you want to lose 1 lb a week: 1665 Your daily estimated calorie budget if you want to lose 2 lbs a week: 1165

Throw out your mirrors. Honestly. You are obsessing over your weight too much. You aren’t far off from an ideal weight. Only 4 1/2 pounds! That’s easy to lose in 2 weeks! What you need to focus on is starting a good diet and exercise plan to maintain a healthy lifestyle to keep your body fit.

I suggest the book The Abs Diet for Women. You can buy it at walmart or WalMart.com for about 13 bucks. It contains great diet info and recipes that are easy. (even a shopping guide which is my fav part!) It also has an exercise plan and each workout has an alternate at-home version that you cna do if you can’t make it to the gym. You should check it out.
