Could it have been an orgasm if it didn't feel the way it had before?

My bf went down on me today, for like half an hr straight, Kudos to him! It was really drawn out and amazing, but I can’t tell if I had an orgasm or not. It felt like an orgasm was going to come, but the ‘wave just didn’t break’, if that makes sense. It was built up to the point like three times where it felt so built up that I was shaking, breathing hard, and just wanting to scream.
