What are your opinions on people who claim to be "straight edge"?

Answer #1

Well I think that if they can stick to that lifestyle then more power to them. But i think that there’s a good portion of them who are hypocrites,at least in my opinion..

Answer #2

I think society as a whole thinks is a great thing and a good decision to be drug free…. I personally think they are peppy, lame, act kinnda odd, and close minded. Peer Pressure, Peer Pressure, Peer Pressure LoL There are a few who are okay but still…. I think it’s becoming a trend. Give it a try before you hate. ya know? I’m just afraid, mainly, that they’ll grow up to be d*cks about marijuana usage.

Answer #3

If they don’t bother me about my lifestyle choices, I won’t bother them.

Answer #4

Hmm, it doesn’t seem bad so I don’t feel like I should think badly of them. Seems like it makes pretty good sense.

Answer #5

I agree with Cassie.

Everyone has the right to live theirown lives the way they want and we should accept it weither its goes agiants your lifestyle or morals etc.

if it is not hurting anyone, let them be.

Answer #6

Never heard of it before so I had to look it up. Never knowingly talked to anyone in this movement. I think it is interesting that they claim to eschew peer pressure but they are rigidly succumbing to the peer pressure of their own group. I’m leery of any “movement” but this one in particular seems kinda’ preachy for my tastes.

Answer #7

On the surface ‘straight edge’ lifestyle is fine, but adherents very quickly tend to become narrow-minded and VERY judgemental.

Answer #8
