What's you opinion on plastic surgery?

Is it worthwhile to have cosmetic makeovers?

Answer #1

In my opinion People who have money can afford to have plastic surgery but people who are in need of plastic surgery but cannot pay high cost to the surgeons can’t avail the benefit. So plastic surgery is only for the rich.

Answer #2

Answer #5

yeahh, thats true.

Answer #6

I think that plastic surgeons should only treat people who are deformed after an accident or who have severe hideous features by birth and do psychologically suffer because of that.

I do not think that people should use surgery to look like Barbie dolls all the same. And I think that using surgery to look younger than you are is also terrible.

I mean, they are so ugly. Look at all those artificial Hollywood stars with their botoxed mask-faces and the uniform nose and the balloon breasts. They do not even have a natural smile on them. Meg Ryan was beautiful before she went to the revisionary butcher. Cher looks like a Zombie… Awful.

Answer #7

I think that you should be proud of your body and in some cases, plastic surgery may be an option but in most cases it is abused. People should accept you for who you are and if they dont, then find people that do.

Answer #8

TO repair the damage, yes it is. To look more beautiful, it is not necessary. Too much money spent on it.

Answer #9

If you look at many famous people who have had plastic surgery, as they get older I think it only makes them look worse. I absolutely hate my nose and always have. (it’s huge). But it’s a part of who I am. I would only get plastic surgery if I was in a car accident and scarred or something like that. I think when use for the proper reasons it can be a wonderful thing that can give someone their life back.

Answer #10

My opinion on this is mixed. While I do believe that everyone should love themselves as they are, I do know that sometimes this isn’t as easy as it seems. Some people have legitimate reasons for wanting it. As an example, I have scars on my right arm from being attacked by a dog. While I don’t think I’d get surgery for them, the scars often make me feel less confident and less beautiful. If I wanted to get surgery for this to feel more beautiful, I don’t think anyone has the right to tell me ‘no’.

Answer #11

If having plastic surgery can boost ones confidence, and help them feel more comfortable then I don’t see the problem with it. I think it’s wonderful when one is comfortable and satisfied with their body. Why deny anyone of that feeling? I am no one to judge who needs it and who does not. The only time I feel plastic surgery becomes a problem are in the instances of body dysmorphic disorder and people going to unlicensed chop shops.

Answer #12

I would not do it myself as I’m petrified of Dr./hospitas/surgery etc. and it doesn’t seem worth it to me, but I figure if someone else wants to get it done and it makes them happy then I’m all for it. I’d be great if we could all be happy with our bodies, but thats simply not going happen and I know from experience growing old and get wrinkles etc. sucks, especially if you have a job that depends on your looks.

Answer #13

It takes to much money and not worth ruining your looks nor your body girl it’s not worth it at all hope i helped and if you need anymore help funmail me ok im courtney.

Answer #14

Not “to look more beautiful,” but to look different. Gorgeous people mutilate themselves to become a certain way.

Answer #15

i agree with most of your comments i couldnt have answered any better i think plastic surgery is wrong but if its just to mend something like your nose maybe lol

Answer #16

I don’t think it is bad although it can screw things up.implants are okay.

Answer #17

The simple answer to your question is yes. Many folks (both men and women) were born with imperfections or perceived imperfections that can be fixed with the advances of medical science. Whether it be flapjack breasts, a crooked nose, a micro member, a loss of hair on the head, too much in all the wrong places, medicine has responded.

Should you feel good inside and should people love you for what you are inside? Sure, but if your wallet permits and you are not satisfied with some physical aspect of yourself, go ahead and splurge on that medical procedure.

Any good doctor should cover the risks of surgery and if you are anything like me and scoffs at potential life threatening danger, surgery may just make you a better you.
