How Do i open my CD-drive on my computer?
the front of it broke off my computer this morning so now the butten to open it is off it, and i can’t figure out how to open it now, any one know how to open it now? should i use a paperclip or something to try to press the tiny butten to open it or something
yeah try like a pencil or something.
Use a screw driver to get the drive out, a pencil may not help at all.
well… gotta put my advice down eh? haha I meant to poke the little button with a pencil to open it.
There are several ways to do this, but the easiest way is to just to go to Computer by pressing “Windows Logo Key+E” and then double clicking on your CD Drive, good luck.
computer or my computer - right click the drive - select eject.
if doing through the OS doesn’t work, shut down the computer and look at the front of the drive. You should see a spot you can slide something like a bent out paper clip into and it will cause the CD drive to pop out just a bit so hopefully you can get a hold on it.
