Older Brother?

Ok I have an older brother who is 18 and I’m almost 14. My question is why are older brothers protective of their little sis’s. I love my brother Kyle very much and we’re very close and I’m sure he means well, but why are they sooo protective. My mom and aunt were joking about how his friends might start looking at me in a few years lol. My aunt was like…”I feel bad 4 the kid who Kyle catches looking at dede”(my nickname) I laughed. I would prefer if an older brother answers this or maybe a dad. Also, my brother always jokes about who he’s gonna go on my 1st date with us and he’ll drive us and sit in the middle of us. lol. I always laugh and get nervous lol. My brother also looks like he is in the military because of his built and he always gets a buzz cut. I think all of my guy friends that know him are afraid of him lol. Kyle is a very gentle and loving person lol. But you know lol I do eventually want to get married lol…Thanks :)

thats because they fell like if they dont protecive then no one will and they want to stop you gettin hurt and thats why its like there job lol
