why are older brothers so protective?

I know exactly how you feel I have 2 older brothers I’m 16 and they are 21&20. They are so over protective of me it is because they care about you they don’t want to see you get hurt especially by guys. They want to make sure that the guy is good enough for you. my boyfriends have went through h*ll from my brothers. Just keep your head up and keep telling yourself its because they care about you.

I know it’s annoying, they just don’t want to see you get hurt. it will take sometime for them to realize and admit that you’ll be okay on your own.

because guys know, what most guys intentions are! they know what ‘those’ guys think about ‘girls’ like that, and they know what ‘they’ do to get what they want. and ‘they’ think that you may succumb to temptation - and you’re their little sis. I too had a very very over protective bro - who would tease me about my guy - who I went out with for 4 years from 13 - 17. he knew telling me not to date him woulnd’t work, so he would tease me about him. didn’t work, as I said, 4 years. however, he turned out to be right about him,. in the end!

it’s their job to try and stop you from being one of the girls that gets talked about for all the wrong reasons…

because they care about ya, I do it a lot with my little sis and yeah they don’t want to see you get hurt.
