Athiest and christians its time to prove to each other

This is obously an atempt to start a fight. thats stupid. this question has been going on for 1000’s of years its not going to be resolved on fun advice if it can be resolved wich it cant.

Christians will never be able to prove that God exist and athest will never convence christians there is no God

I say this as a whole not as a singel person

everyone basically answered it. you see I didnt want to start a fight I simply jump started this whole thing on fun advice cause people I see are always trying to disprove or prove god. and well you cant , im simply saying that istead of saying eachother is wrong , simply embrace…

silverwings: You need a clearer idea of what constitutes ‘proof’.

The proof is all around you, even in the mirror, however, if one chooses to not believe, then, it is pointless… to try to make him believe. When he gets ready to believe… then, and only then… will he believe.

I doubt a question that has been hanging over the heads of mankind for eternity, will be answered on FunAdvice…

I can not prove the nonexistence of invisible leprechauns. I can also see no reason to give serious consideration to the idea, and justifiably state that the idea is absurd without any proof.

…same goes for the myriad of gods that people believe in.

I’m sure some will still try and argue, it just annoy’s me when they dont understand simple definitions.

this is a pointless question, nobody is going to win, this argument will never get settled, and nobody cares either. get over it.

There is nothing to prove or disprove. You CANT prove that religion is correct, because religion = faith. Faith does not equal truth.

Faith: Noun

1. strong belief in something, esp. without proof
2. a specific system of religious beliefs
3. complete confidence or trust, such as in a person or remedy
4. allegiance to a person or cause

I’ve said this a million times on here. Religion =Faith. Faith is a strong belief in something that can not be proved. Period. It’s simple defintitions.

Like all the other threads along these lines, it’s unlikely anyone’s going to be convinced. Atheists like myself see no reason to believe in something that can’t be empirically demonstrated, and those that are religious don’t really care if their religion can be validated or not.
