Does the NuvaRing lighten periods?
As well, does it slip out easily, and what happens if it does? Have you or other women experienced a substantial amount of weight gain from it?

I actually asked a friend who uses NuvaRing, and she said it helped lighten her period quite a bit, which is saying something because she’s always had an incredibly heavy period. Looking at some reviews, I found that many girls experienced significant amounts of weight gain, as to be expected from birth control. Many of the reviews I found were from females who had the NuvaRing for a few years and rarely had issues with it slipping out, but the official site does warn that it “may slip out when removing a tampon, straining during a bowel movement, or having intercourse.”
