I think it’s your obsession with trying not to eat. You should find a new hobby, join a club, start volunteering, etc. The less obsessed you are with food and weight, the less time you’re going to spend eating. Convince yourself that you have the rest of tomorrow to eat something that you really, really like. Don’t forget to exercise regularly. People who exercise tend to have healthier eating habits.

Also, I wouldn’t be surprised if you overestimated your calorie intake.
