not sure about the belly piercing is it safe?

if I get my belly pierced and later on in life I want to have a baby I will be able to and will it affect the navel at all? and can I take it out when im pregnant? please help me

my friend has had hers done for a few years and now it wont grow closed. I wouldn’t want a hole in my belly button all stretched out while I’m pregnant…I did have mine done twice now, both times got infected even after careful cleaning 3 times a day, left scars both times…im my opinion not worth it.

dont worry a navle ring doesnt and wont affect pregnancy it wont stop you from getting pregnant or make pregnancy any more complicated and yes, if you dont want it in you can take it out for the pregnancy you can also buy special navle rings that bend so you can leave it in if you want

Nope you’ll be okay as long as it’s done proffesionally and doesn’t get infected. I’m pregnant now and had mine done for almost 6 years, last week my doctor told me to take it out though which took like 2 seconds to do. It does leave a scar, that’s the only thing.
