No webcam with windows professional?
A fried of mine has windows professional, why wont it allow me to load webcam…, it says I have to have sp2..
If this is right I thought I may be able to download it from download.com...
You need to look online for your specific webcam. (model # ect) and download the driver. Sometimes certain camera’s are not recognized by your computer. Good luck.
SP2 stands for servive pack two, it is a set of updates that help your computer run newer opperations, the Xp version sounds like it needs this update and many more if you still haven’t done sp2. I suggest backing up your hard drive first as a huge update can cause some compatability issues occationally depending on the software you’ve added to the computer. then after insalling the update go the webcam manufactur’s website an look for any driver and/ or patches you nee to install it for your version of mindows
