What are good natural ways to get long lasting energy?

I work 12 hour night shifts and this is my first winter in Vermont. I keep feeling run down and I keep getting sick. I take a multi vitimin and drink juice, but Idk what to do.

Try to save energy by not doing any hard work using your muscles. If you work behind the desk, try to spend 5 minutes every 30 minutes to take a break by having little walk. Provide yourself with enough water, fresh water. And as usual, regular intake of warm tea beofre bed is always a solution for me. Hopw I help :)

The body obtains its energy from glycogen delivered to the blood by digestion of your food. Foods that digest slowly maintain that glycogen delivery more evenly and for a longer period than foods that are digested quickly which give you a rapid “sugar rush” burst of energy followed by a comparative period of tiredness and lack of energy. . The “complex carbohydrates” include oats, rice, pasta and potatoes, and a diet containing around 50% calories from such complex carbohydrates is best at maintaining long lasting energy. . The body also improves its ability to store and use “long lasting energy” by having a regular routine of moderately intense aerobic exercise. . Suggestions that “not doing any hard work using your muscles” are absolutely ludicrous. I would like to see how long any such person’s energy would last compared to that of a marathon runner and a professional footballer - if all three had to do moderately demanding physical work for 12 hours. . A person who avoids using their muscles adequately invariably lacks energy, those who do plenty of physical exercise involving use of all the major muscle groups adapt to that usage and develop the ability to store and use glycogen for longer periods with long lasting energy and reduced tiredness. .

I work at a job where I am constantly on my feet, walking miles a day for 10 hours (minus the 2 I get for break) And with it being a night shift, where as most people sleep, it gets hard. I don’t really get the chance to snack often or drink anything because I am in an area where that is prohibited. Thanks!
