How much Native American blood do I need to be able to be legally consider a Native American by the United States?

as long as u have some native blood but u have to belong to a tribe. see im 1/2 navajo and 1/2 spanish but im considered full blood because of my grandma

Well my aunt is apart of our tribe, does that increase the odds of my tribe adopting me? i believe i am either Cherokee or camanchee(not sure if i spelled that right)

Sri, i understand that to be considered American, which i am, i only need one parent to be American ect.. Native American is different than just being american.

all people that have native American blood have type O blood. i dont know if that’s true but that’s what i heard

Sri, in most countries “native __“ just means you were born there. But “Native American” (notice the capital N) means American Indian.
