it is a mindset now with a name and labeled a disease i think
Uhm, who exactly has called it a disease? It’s a personality characteristic. If it a person is dysfunctional enough they could be diagnosed with a personality disorder. But I dont think anyone could go so far as to call it a disease.

Any mindset can be a disease if it turns extreme.
Thus, if someone’s narcistic but gets along fine in everyday-life ans isn’t unhappy it’s not a disease.
If somebody is narcistic and it keeps him from leading a normal life, it makes him fail with social relations or it even makes him commit crimes, then it’s a disease that has to be treated by a psychologist.
