Defences against disease

what are some of the bodies defences against disease?

Answer #1

Well, there are two types of defenses the body has against disease/infections:

  1. Passive - Not specifically made to fight against disease, it’s just there to offer some protection
  2. Active - Specifically made to defend against disease

Passive: Skin Active: Antibodies, white blood cells

That’s all I can think of on the spot…hope this helps
