How to train my puppy to go inside?

I have the cutest puppy in the ENTIRE world.. she is soo sweet and loving.. The only problem is, I cant let her go outside because she is a teacup, and we have hawks that swoop down at my other dog, who weighs 22 pounds, so im not taking the change with her because she weighs 12 ounces! I had her almost completly trained, but when we moved here, we couldnt let her go outside. But she wont train on puppy pads, either!! She will pee right next to them! Any suggestions??

well if you want to train her to go outside have her on her leash and make sure your with her at all times outside or you can crate train her that also works really great!

Excellant advice I don’t think there is anything I can add to it.

Except you might add newspaper under the pad and than when she misses she is still on the paper. Mine are use to newspaper but sometimes will still go off the paper.

If you take her out always do it at the same time and make sure you use a command like GO POTTY! give her about 15 mins and than bring her in. Do it about every two hours at first and then crate her at night. Have her on a leash and stay with her until you return to the house.

Keep her with you on a leash at all times you are at home. If you are watching TV she is on the leash. This way you can watch her. Even take her to the bathroom with you even take her every where in the house until you are ready to take her out.

Young toy dogs are hard to house break even using a small crate.
